1. Accepting these terms

By using Whoolla you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Downloads from the App Store are also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

2. What the service provides

Whoolla shows what people in different countries call each member of the family, with pronunciation, the relationship path, and short notes on why the words are the way they are. It is a reference and a learning aid. It is not a translation service for general text, not a dictionary of last resort, and not an authority on any family.

3. Free

Whoolla is free, with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no interference with its operation, and no use that is unlawful. Do not present Whoolla’s words as a ruling in any dispute about what someone should be called; see section 6.

5. Your content

What you enter into My family — names, countries, notes — is yours. It stays on your device, we never receive it, and we make no claim to it.

6. Accuracy

The kinship words in Whoolla are researched and checked, but languages vary by region, family and generation, and some countries have more than one language community. Treat what you read as a good guide rather than a ruling. If a relative tells you they are called something else, they are right. We may correct, add, or change words in updates.

7. Our content

The app’s text, data, illustrations and audio belong to Studio Undisturbed. You may use them within the app and may share the app’s own share cards; please do not extract or republish the data as your own.

8. Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

Whoolla is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on a word in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at undisturbed.studio/whoolla/privacy-policy explains what the app does with information and is part of these terms.

11. Apple terms

These terms are between you and Studio Undisturbed, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app, and Apple’s App Store terms apply to your download.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
