find Seoul (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a travel companion that helps visitors learn practical Korean phrases organized by Seoul subway station and neighborhood. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. We built find Seoul to work without collecting your personal information.
Information we do not collect
find Seoul does not require an account and does not ask you to sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
Information stored on your device
Some features let you personalize the app — for example, saving a station as a favorite or keeping a list of recently viewed places. This information is stored only on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party, and it is removed if you delete the app.
Location
If you grant location permission, the app uses your location solely to show your position on the map and to help you find nearby stations. Your location is used on your device for display purposes only. We do not store your location, and we do not transmit it to our servers or to any third party. You can turn off location access at any time in your device’s Settings.
Content delivery
The app downloads its learning content (phrases, station guides, images, and related text) from our content service so we can keep it up to date without requiring an app update. These requests deliver content to your device. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they do not include personal information about you.
Purchases
find Seoul offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock additional content. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details or other financial information. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Analytics
At the time of this version, find Seoul does not include third-party analytics or usage-tracking software. If we add analytics in a future version, we will update this policy and the app’s App Store privacy details before doing so.
Children’s privacy
find Seoul is intended for a general audience of travelers. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
